Medicaid Underpayment

Bridgeport Hospital’s service area includes the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut’s most populous city. More than 18% of the city’s residents live below the federal poverty level. In FY 2007, the Bridgeport Hospital had a total of 68,580 Medicaid inpatient discharges or outpatient visits.
