The Primary Care Center at Bridgeport Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to adults and children. The Primary Care Center has three components: Medical/Surgical, Pediatric and Obstetrics/Gynecology. In addition, there are a total of 20 adult and pediatric subspecialty clinics, including ones for cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, immunology, neurology, podiatry, orthopedics and pulmonary diseases.

Appointments
To schedule an appointment with one of our physicians, please call the Primary Care Center at 203-384-3235. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. If you cannot arrive at the scheduled time, please call the Primary Care Center at 203-384-3235.

Urgent Appointments
For same-day appointments, please call 203-384-3235. If you have a medical emergency, please go directly to the Emergency Room or call 9-1-1 for an ambulance, if necessary.

Specialty Appointments
The Primary Care Center provides many specialty services. To request a specialty consultation, please talk to your doctor.

Patients are seen in order of appointment. You will be called as soon as your doctor is ready to see you.

The Primary Care Center accepts:

-       Medicare
-       Medicaid/Husky A, B, C, D
-       Medicaid  Charter Oak
-       Commercial insurance

If you do not have insurance our Financial Counselor is happy to speak with you to discuss the cost of the visit and arrangements that can be made.
