Fairfield University and BHNAP is fully accredited by The Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). The next accreditation review is scheduled for Spring 2010.

Fairfield University is fully accredited by The New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the School of Nursing by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education

Our 29 month program offers a Master of Science degree in Nursing through Fairfield University, and a Certificate in Nurse Anesthesia through Bridgeport Hospital. Upon graduation, the student will be eligible to take the National Certifying Examination (NCE) to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
