Pilates restores mind-body integration while strengthening the core musculature - scapular, abdominal, back and pelvic muscles. Pilates will help you regain mobility, strength and endurance and will improve posture at the same time restoring overall wellness. Because it is low-impact, highly effective exercise, Pilates easily accommodates patients with special considerations such as breast cancer patients and survivors. These small group class are taught by certified instructors Laura Pennock and Doris Pasteleur Hall of Black Rock Pilates.
