A Licensed Physical Therapist from the Ahlbin Centers for Rehabilitation Medicine conducts this course on lymphedema, a common side effect of breast cancer treatment. She will familiarize participants with the basic anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, complications of lymphedema, the principles of prevention, and the basics of an appropriate exercise program following breast surgery.
