Cardiac Outpatient Rehab
After patients go home, many continue to take good care of their hearts by taking part in The Heart Institute's Healthy Heart Program (formerly Outpatient Cardiac Rehab) and/or Project Heart Smart, a program for anyone in the community who wants to prevent heart disease or its recurrence. Also available: Heart Beats, Inc., the Bridgeport Hospital-sponsored group that has been offering support and education group for heart patients and their families for the past 20 years.
