Enchanted Castle celebrates 20th anniversary

There isn’t a ghost of a chance you and your children can have more fun this Halloween season than at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Enchanted Castle, Oct. 19- 29, sponsored by The Auxiliary of Ahlbin Rehabilitation Centers at Bridgeport Hospital.

Held annually at the Burr Homestead, 739 Old Post Road, Fairfield, the pre-Halloween Magical Storybook Experience for children ages 2-9 and their families features non-scary costumed storybook characters and theme rooms. In addition to last year’s popular Candyland theme room, the Enchanted Castle will feature Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Wizard of Oz.

At $5, admission is a treat and all proceeds support Ahlbin Centers programs such as Fit and Healthy Kids, Cancer Therapy, Womens’ Health, Music Therapy, as well as specialized equipment and scholarships.

It’s howling good fun. The only frightening thing is you might miss it!
