 The ATU has-
Experienced perinatologists-obstetricians specially trained in ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis. They are available to assist your physician 24 hours a day during your pregnancy and delivery.
Sophisticated imaging systems such as Targeted (Level II) ultrasound and 3-D/4-D ultrasounds, which provide more detail than the standard ultrasound; and Doppler Color-Flow Ultrasound, which uses sound waves to look at blood flow through the fetal or maternal blood vessels.
Techniques to diagnose fetal disorders, including first trimester screening for birth defects, PUBS (percutaneous umbilical blood sampling), amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
