In May 2000, Healthy & Wise told the story of Luke, Jake, and Paul Ferrigno-triplets born to Huntington residents Paul and Melissa Ferrigno after a difficult pregnancy. Since then, the boys have come to symbolize The Birthplace at Bridgeport Hospital. They were featured on an I-95 billboard, and their photograph is the first thing you see when you log onto The Birthplace page at our website (www.bridgeporthospital.com/Birthplace).
Four years later, it's a little harder to take their pictures! Never still for an instant, the three happy, healthy boys seem more like six boys. If they're not pumping hard on their color-coded swings (Luke's is yellow, Jake's is red, and Paulie's is bue), they're climbing trees or tearing around the yard in their battery-powered cars.
The biggest challenge in the past four years, according to mom Melissa: toilet training!
Is Bridgeport Hospital proud of the role it played in bringing these three little guys into the world? Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh boy-are we ever!
