What’s New: Trumbull Radiation Oncology Center

Now Open at 5520 Park Avenue

Now, cancer patients won’t have to travel far from home to receive life-saving radiation treatments. Bridgeport Hospital, a member of the Yale-New Haven Cancer Network, has opened a brand-new, stateof- the-art outpatient radiation oncology center at 5520 Park Avenue in Trumbull.

The 10,000-square foot Trumbull Radiation Oncology Center offers cancer patients expert care and the most advanced cancer treatments in a convenient location. The center is located at Exit 47 off the Merritt Parkway and is steps from the Easton, Fairfield and Bridgeport town lines. “This new site gives our patients enhanced surroundings and technology and more convenient access to care in a suburban setting,” says Bridgeport Hospital’s Chief of Radiation Oncology and Assistant Clinical Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale Cancer Center, Sheida Mani, MD.

“Bridgeport Hospital and The Norma F. Pfriem Cancer Institute are committed to providing a full array of outpatient services in the communities we serve, coupled with the very best inpatient services at Bridgeport Hospital,” said Bridgeport Hospital President and CEO Bill Jennings. “We will continue to provide the best in cancer treatments, comfort and hope to our patients.”
