|Bridgeport Hospital's Breakfast at the Barnum: The Raptor Man Is Coming! |
On November 17th "Bridgeport Hospital's Breakfast at the Barnum" will feature master falconer Jonathan Wood, director of The Raptor Project, and his friends "Uncle Sam" the patriotic bald eagle, "Cody" the golden eagle, "Tiny Tina" the 3-ounce saw-whet owl, and many others. These birds have been specially tamed and trained to serve as beautiful ambassadors for their species.
Just as birds need the right foods to be healthy, so do kids! During the breakfast part of the morning, Katie Crocco, Child Life Therapist in The P.T. Barnum Pediatric Center at Bridgeport Hospital, will give a fun presentation about good nutrition for children.
