Simple Honey Balsamic Dijon Vinaigrette

Use this on salads as a dressing and as a marinade for meat, chicken and fish.

Serves 8; 2 tablespoons per serving


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ground black pepper to taste


Combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, shallot, garlic, black pepper together n a glass jar with a lid. Replace lid on the jar and shake vigoriously until thoroughly combined.
