Cardiac Specialists, a Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) practice with seven offices throughout Connecticut, received Heart/Stroke Recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

YNHHS has signed a letter of intent to create a new strategic partnership with Vanguard Health System, combining YNHHS’s world-class quality of care, access and efficiency and Vanguard’s management expertise, resources and capital. On August 8, the Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) announced a separate letter of intent to explore an affiliation with YNHHS and Vanguard Health System.
