Robot-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery... Only Bridgeport Hospital

Bridgeport Hospital is the first in our area to acquire the latest-generation da Vinci "S" Surgery System. Sophisticated 3D imaging gives surgeons a lifelike view of the area they operate on, allowing them to maneuver the system's flexible robotic arms through tiny incisions with extraordinary precision. The result for patients is less blood loss, scarring, post-operative pain and discomfort; a lower risk of infection; a shorter hospital stay; and a faster recovery and return to normal activities. The da Vinci System can be used for a number of procedures, including prostate and gynecological surgery. For information, please call 203-384-3533.
