Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center, Cardinal Shehan Center share proceeds from Christmas Tree Festival
|Fairfield, CT (March 25, 2013)— The Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival has presented $250,000 in proceeds from its December 2012 event to the Cardinal Shehan Center and the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center.|
The two nonprofit organizations each received a check for $125,000. The checks were accepted by Terry O’Connor, Executive Director of the Cardinal Shehan Center, and Donna Twist, Executive Director of the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center.

According to Moira Rachel, President of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival, “We were proud to bring these two local organizations together to pool their resources and create a health awareness pilot program to combat breast cancer. The partnership between the Shehan Center and the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Cancer Center is a much-needed resource for women. The Festival was thrilled to honor them by raising funds to support not only this new program but to support their current programs, which continue well after our December event.”
