Sometimes students prefer to graduate earlier so that they can join the workforce sooner. The accelerated RN program is designed for students who can commit more time to study over the summer months. The eligibility requirements for this program are:

• Successful completion of all first year courses.
• Successful completion of the first second level course offered in the spring (NU201) and Microbiology.
• GPA for nursing courses must be 3.0 or above.
• Written request to enroll in the accelerated program at least 2 months prior to its onset.

Students accepted into the accelerated track will continue their program of study through the summer and graduate in December. The Academic Calendar includes dates for the accelerated courses. Acceptance is also contingent on space availability.
