Three generations of the Sullivan family hosted a Cups of Care teen tea party on March 2 with over 50 middle school students and their adult family members attending. Proceeds from the tea benefit the Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center’s programs for women in need. For more info about the tea parties, call (203) 255-5300.
The first Cups of Care teen tea party was held on February 22 at the home of Jen and Katie Hinkle and co-hosted by Kathy and Katie Saladin. The mother-daughter teams made their famous pink Hinkle Twinkle cookies as well as crustless sandwiches, and served them with Bigelow teas, courtesy of the Bigelow family. Proceeds from the teas benefit the Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center’s programs for women in need.
Tired of snow days and looking for something to do, these four grade schoolers put themselves to work to help others in the community! In a few hours they raised $140 for breast cancer patients. The Sacred Heart University Women's Volleyball took on Hofstra in a "Digg Pink" Match to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer. Informational packets on breast health were distributed to all students who attended. Money raised was donated to the NPBCC.
