Breastfeeding can be challenging. Resolve any breastfeeding doubts and difficulties you may be experiencing during a mom-to-mom support group facilitated by a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant and mom. Topics will include: how to get off to a good start, finding comfortable and relaxing breastfeeding positions, establishing and maintaining an ample milk supply, how to “tune in” to baby’s rhythm, relationship support, introducing solids, returning to work and how weaning happens. Group discussions are based on the principles described in the book, Breastfeeding Made Simple: Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers, 2nd Edition; however, ample time will be available to address the individual concerns of the mothers who attend. Copies of the book will be available for sale at the group. Babies in arms welcome!
