Rosti has been called the national dish of German-speaking Switzerland. Rosti is similar to hash browns and is usually topped with cheese. Here is a lower calorie version of the dish. IngredientsDirectionsShred the potato on a large-holed grater. Heat oil in a small frying pan on medium heat. Add chopped onion and shredded potato. Form into a cake and let cook for about five minutes on low. When crust forms, turn carefully. Let cook five minutes longer.
