Sanjay Aneja, MD, is an Instructor in the Department of Therapeutic Radiology. He received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, during which time he published several research studies looking at geographic access to
radiation therapy services and the distribution of the radiation oncologist workforce.
Dr. Aneja has clinical experience with stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for lung, prostate, pancreas, and liver cancers, as well as with Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, Cyberknife Radiosurgery, and HDR Brachytherapy. During his residency at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Aneja received the Yale Innovation Grant for his work in cancer outcome
prediction using machine learning techniques. Dr. Aneja treats patients in the Gamma Knife Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital.
