Volunteering

Bridgeport Hospital’s Volunteer Program is a rewarding opportunity for men, women and students (age 15 and older) to enhance the Bridgeport Hospital experience. Adults are welcome to become volunteers at any time throughout the year. The High School Student Volunteer Program begins during the last week of June and ends at the beginning of September.

Individuals who are interested in donating their time on a regular basis will be both challenged and satisfied by the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available at the hospital.

To ensure a safe and healthy environment for Bridgeport Hospital patients, staff members, physicians and volunteers, background checks are conducted on all applicants age 18 and older. Additionally, all volunteers receive a brief physical examination before they start.

If you are interested in becoming part of this dedicated and highly respected Bridgeport Hospital team, please contact Volunteer Services, 203-384-3330, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
