Breastfeeding Basics

This informative class will help parents gain the knowledge and skills necessary to have a rewarding breastfeeding relationship. Included: benefits of breastfeeding, establishing and maintaining milk supply, latch-on and positioning techniques, how to know if baby is getting enough, trouble-shooting, debunking myths, and making breastfeeding fit into your busy lifestyle. The class is taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Who Should Enroll?

Enroll mother only. Will consider enrolling antepartum patients on bedrest at Bridgeport. All requests for nursing student class observations should be referred to the instructor at 203-384-4164.
