YNHH’s Saint Raphael Campus patients and visitors should allow extra time to navigate the area. The George Street Garage entrance will remain open, but GPS might not be accurate during construction. Signs directing traffic will be posted. Emergency traffic will be able to access the Saint Raphael Campus Emergency Department.
Due to Emergency Department (ED) renovations, patients and visitors will not be able to access the ED waiting room from the main hospital corridor.
ED patients and visitors are encouraged to use valet parking. Those who choose to park in the George Street Garage (629 George St.) will be directed to a temporary, covered walkway outside the garage that leads to the ED main entrance.
Patients with mobility issues should use the valet or request assistance at the greeter desk.

Your doctor will determine when you are ready to be discharged from the hospital. He or she will write your discharge order and, along with other members of your team, will provide instructions about continuing care and recovery at home.

Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available. For extended stays, a small number of rooms are available at a reduced fee via social work referral.

The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut
The Ronald McDonald House is a place where families can stay while their child is being treated at the hospital. A referral from a hospital staff member is required before a family can register as a guest at the House. A modest fee is charged per night.
YNHH offers transportation from the hospital to the Ronald McDonald House. Please call Protective Services at 203-688-2500 in advance of the time you would like to leave.
