Denise D. Morris has been named vice president, Human Resources, overseeing Yale New Haven Hospital, Health Services Corp., Northeast Medical Group, Grimes Center, Corporate Professional Business Services and HomeCare Plus. She joined Yale New Haven Health from Cleveland Clinic Florida, where she was executive director of Human Resources for the Florida region. Before that, Morris was executive director, HR Client Services, for the University of Miami School of Medicine. She earned her BS in liberal arts, with a minor in health service administration, communication and education from the University of Central Florida in Orlando; and an MS in human resources management and MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
 
Julie Goodwin, MD, has been named section chief of Pediatric Nephrology. Dr. Goodwin is associate professor of Pediatric Nephrology, fellowship program director, and has served as the interim section chief of pediatric nephrology since 2019. She joined Yale Pediatrics in 2007 as an associate research scientist. In 2010, she became assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics and in 2017, was promoted to associate professor. Dr. Goodwin earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, completed a pediatrics internship and residency at Georgetown University Hospital and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Yale School of Medicine.
