Employees may be vaccinated at one of the fairs; those who work off campus should discuss arrangements with their managers. Employees, including those not enrolled in a YNHHS medical benefit plan, may also be vaccinated outside of the health system, by their primary care physician or at another site (employees enrolled in a YNHHS medical benefit plan may be vaccinated at a pharmacy in the CVS Caremark vaccination network). Forms and instructions for outside vaccination are available on Infor.

Employees who submitted a request for a medical exemption by the Sept. 30 deadline will be notified by Oct. 31 if their request is approved. Employees requesting a religious exemption have until Oct. 31 to apply; their request will be approved or denied by Nov. 15. Exemption information is available on Infor.

As part of YNHHS’ commitment to employee health and wellbeing, the health system will include influenza vaccination in an employee’s Epic record, if one exists. Employees can opt out of having their flu vaccination information automatically uploaded to Epic by going to Employee Space on Infor, clicking “Employee Health” and selecting “Flu Epic Opt-Out” under the Health tab.

Employees without an Epic record will not have their information included in the medical record of any other provider(s). The deadline for opting out is Nov. 15.
