Center for Expertise in Cancer, Neurologic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation 

The Ahlbin Rehabilitation Center in Bridgeport is recognized as a Center of Expertise for cancer, neurologic and orthopedic rehabilitation. Our multidisciplinary team of physical, speech, and occupational therapists treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues including post-surgical rehab, joint pain, sports injuries and chronic conditions. 

Comprehensive oncology management is provided by our certified therapists who specialize in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy and personalized exercise programs to reduce swelling and improve mobility.  

Our therapists hold advanced orthopedic training and certifications. We provide one-on-one care to treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions to give patients the tools to restore function, reduce pain and return to the life you love. We offer dry needling in addition to traditional physical therapy to manage myofascial pain, trigger points and tendon injury. 

Multidisciplinary care for the treatment of neurological conditions including gait and balance difficulty, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dizziness and concussion. Our therapists design an individualized home program to help you return to independent function. Specialized services include LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s disease, vestibular rehabilitation, post-concussion therapy and wheelchair evaluations. 

We treat adolescent and adult patients.
