Remote Access

The publishers of all online journals, books, and databases available through the Reeves Health Sciences Library website limit access to the Bridgeport Hospital Network. When off-site, LibLynx provides seamless access to these resources.

• Self-register for immediate off campus access to library resources.
  • Use your hospital email (@bpthsop.org or @ynhh.org) to register.
  • Identify the campus you are working at, role/position, and department.
  • After registering check your hospital email for an activation link.

• After activating your LibLynx account, go directly to the library portal.
• Please bookmark the portal for future access.

Register for an UptoDate Account

Note: Please create your UptoDate account through the Library Services link in the EPIC Toolbar. Otherwise, you will be required to log into UptoDate periodically to reauthorize your account.

• Users must register for a free account in order to access UptoDate through a mobile app or remote access.
  • Log into EPIC from a Bridgeport Hospital computer.
  • Click on the Library Services link in the EPIC Toolbar and open UptoDate.
  • Select the Register link in the upper right corner.
  • Fill out the Registration Form and select your User Name and Password. Use your Bridgeport Hospital email when registering. You will be emailed a Verification Code. Follow the Instructions in the email.
  • Download the UptoDate App to your smartphone or tablet.
  • Open and activate the UptoDate App by logging in.
