The popular Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk, 3K Fitness Walk and Kid’s Fun Run is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, starting at 8:30 am. There’s something for every member of the family, thanks to presenting sponsor Dillon’s Services of Shelton.
The event includes a timed 5K run and walk, along with a 3K fitness walk and Kid’s Fun Run for children 9 and younger. The 5K and 3K courses begin and end adjacent to Bridgeport Hospital’s Milford Campus and follow a picturesque route along Seaside Avenue. Once participants cross the finish line, all are invited to enjoy music, light refreshments, race announcements and awards.
Proceeds will support patients and services at the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus.
Registration for adults 19 and older is $40 from now until May 3; and $20 for students ages 10 to 18. Children ages 9 and under are free. There are prizes for the top three runners in all age groups and special prizes for the fastest mother-daughter and mother-son teams.
