Biography - Ali Rashid, MD

Ali Rashid, MD, is a psychiatrist specializing in neurology and neuropsychiatry. He focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions that affect both the mind and the brain, including neurodegenerative disorders and complex psychiatric cases with a neurological component. He uses various therapeutic approaches to help manage and improve patients’ mental health.

As an assistant professor of psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Rashid’s research is aimed at understanding the intersection between psychiatric and neurological health, and developing innovative treatment.

Dr. Rashid earned his medical degree from Zaiuddin University in Pakistan. He furthered his education by completing his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center, followed by fellowships at Yale New Haven Hospital and the VA Medical Center in West Haven, CT.
