Amy Tran is a board certified family medicine physician practicing at Yale NEMG Multispecialty Clinic in Fairfield, Connecticut. She believes in holistic care of the patient and welcomes people from all walks of life; “womb to tomb”. She trained as an osteopathic physician where she uses palpation skills to diagnose patients with different muscle ailments and treat their chronic pain as an adjunct to her traditional medical training. She also has professional interests in dermatological procedures, mental health, women’s health, and preventative care.
She was born in Vietnam, raised here locally in Bridgeport and attended Fairfield University where she studied Biology Pre-med and Studio Arts. She attended Nova Southeastern University in South Florida for medical school and subsequently trained three years in Family Medicine with Mercy Health/Michigan State University hospital system in Western Michigan. She currently lives in Stratford, CT and enjoys, travel, cooking, crossfit, and cute dogs.
