David Luo, DO

David Luo, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, has an immense passion for preventative medicine. Dr. Luo’s goal is to provide preventive treatment before problems arise. When medical conditions appear, he has a desire to apply evidence-based treatment options, searching for the problem’s roots rather than treating symptoms. Dr. Luo keeps an open mind to alternative methods when traditional evidence-based medicine is not effective. He has a particular interest in diabetes, hypertension (HTN) and weight loss.

Dr. Luo earned his medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, New York. He also earned a master’s degree in public health science (MHS) from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. In his free time, Dr. Luo enjoys spending time with his family, playing volleyball and enjoying coffee. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). Dr. Luo is fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin Chinese. He sees patients of all ages, from newborns and up.
