Denise Mohess, MD, is a Board-Certified Geriatric Medicine Physician dedicated to bringing a holistic approach to patient care by addressing the special health problems of the elderly and caring for the caregivers. Dr. Mohess, also Board-Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, aims to develop care plans which align with the patients’ priorities and improve the quality of life for those she serves. She has provided clinical care for vulnerable populations and those with serious illness of all ages across the care continuum.
Dr. Mohess received her medical degree from The University of the West Indies in Trinidad and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Jefferson Abington Hospital in Pennsylvania. She received her fellowship training in Board-Certified Geriatric Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Board-Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
Dr. Mohess, a certified diversity professional, has a passion for fostering relationship-centered communication in healthcare with patients and providers as well as developing high-performing teams.
