At Bridgeport Hospital, our team of colorectal surgeons uses the latest techniques of minimally invasive surgery, when possible, to result in quicker recovery. The multidisciplinary group of surgeons and physicians team to create treatment plans specific to the patient’s individual condition and needs.

Even with the use of dietary changes, medications and other treatments, some conditions may progress to the point where surgery is necessary. We work with the patient and their gastroenterologist to determine a treatment plan. We will use minimally invasive surgical techniques when the condition allows and will focus on conserving as much as the digestive system as possible.
