A sleep medicine physician will meet with you to assess your sleep-related disorder or other medical conditions hat may prohibit a restful night sleep. Our sleep medicine team will work with you to develop a unique treatment plan based on your needs. This may include a sleep study, sleep testing or home sleep testing. We will monitor and evaluate your progress throughout the treatment plan.

The sleep medicine team provides continued care for each patient. We assist with follow-up care if needed and work closely with a network of specialty providers who are board-certified in bariatric surgery, cardiology, dentistry neurology and otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat).
The Sleep Medicine program at Bridgeport Hospital can help. The Sleep Medicine program offers comprehensive diagnostic testing and treatment for those unable to get a restful night sleep. Our program offers a coordinated approach to to help manage a variety of sleep disorders and sleep-related conditions. The program is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
The sleep medicine team includes physicians who are board-certified in sleep medicine in addition to internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care. Registered polysomnagraphic (sleep testing) technologists have extensive experience monitoring sleep disorders.
Our team aims to provide testing in a manner that provides the most restful sleep possible. Sleep testing is conducted using the advanced technology and equipment which will provide and accurate assessment of your sleep disorder. Sleep testing may be conducted at the sleep medicine center or in the privacy of your own home.
