TRUMBULL, CT (May 27, 2022) – Free skin cancer screenings will be provided by physicians from Yale Medicine and Bridgeport Hospital on Thursday, June 9, from 4 - 7 pm, at Park Avenue Medical Center, 5520 Park Ave., Trumbull, Smilow Cancer Hospital Surgical Specialty Center, Level 1. However, the five-year survival rate for melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, is 98 percent when detected and treated in its early stages.
